INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY

 

 

         The International University Association for Science and Technology of Romania (UASTRO) is a non-governamental professional association with the following main activities:

        -Promotes the international academic cooperation and scientific exchange primarily in the engineering fields as aerospace, biomechanic, manufacturing systems, robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, neurorehabilitation;

        -Organizes annually two international conferences – OPTIROB and ICMERA– both focused on the new progresses in the fields of Aerospace, Robotics, Manufacturing Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanics, Biomechatronics, Neurorehabilitation and related fields. The two conferences held in Romania (usually in June and November each year) are organized by UASTRO in collaboration with the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences - Mechanical Branch, Academy of Scientists from Romania, University Politehnica of Bucharest (Aerospace and IMST faculties), National Institute for Developing and Research in Mechatronics and Measurements, “Pro Optica” Society, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Phamacy, “Elias” University Emergency Hospital, Military Equipment and Technologies Research Agency,  National Institute of Solid Mechanics, “Henri Coanda” Air Force Academy, the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT) from Singapor, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) etc.;                -Promotes the young scientists and engineers participation in some important international conferences around the world;

         -Provides consulting in the development of the human resources for engineering related fields;

         -Provides consulting and facilitates the access of the students and young academics members to the fundamental and applicative research activities in the national and international research universities and institutes;

         -Provides consulting for the young researchers for accessing grants for M.Sc., PhD and postdoctoral studies in Romania or internationally based on mutual academic exchange.
